Kollant, fondata nel 1969, è un'azienda leader nel mercato hobbistico, particolare nell'ambito di insetticidi ad uso civile e biocidi (rodenticidi, molluschicidi, ...). La maggior parte del fatturato del gruppo Kollant si sviluppa in Italia e negli altri paesi dell'Unione Europea, raggiungendo i 30 milioni di dollari nel 2005.

Makhteshim Agan makes another non-crop acquisition, this time in Europe:
MAKHTESHIM AGAN ACQUIRES 60% OF THE ITALIAN GROUP KOLLANT
Tel Aviv, Israel, May 8, 2006 – Makhteshim Agan (TASE – Main), the world's leading generic plant protection company and ranked 7th in the global agrochemical market, announced today that one of its wholly-owned overseas subsidiaries has acquired 60% of the Italian group, Kollant. The parties agreed not to publish the details of the transaction.
Kollant, established in 1969, is a leading company in the Italian non-crop market. It develops, manufactures and sells a range of plant protection products, rodenticides and molluskicides, aimed mainly, but not only, for non-crop uses.
Most of Kollant's Group sales are in Italy and other EU countries, and in 2005 reached $30 million.
